As of February 1st (my birthday), the Blue Belle Inn will have been open for 20 years.
I'm both humbled and proud when I think of all the people we've had the pleasure to get to know and to serve in the time we've been open.
On February 4th, we'll be celebrating the Blue Belle's 20th anniversary and my birthday (yes, it's a major one). My talented nephew, Cole Fister, and his lovely bride, Kayla, will be singing, and my friends Merle Aanrud and Mary Ann Olsen will be joining me on drums and keyboard to serenade you during dinner. I'd love it if you'd join us!
Many things have changed in the past two decades, but one thing has stayed exactly the same ~ we're always happy to see you when you wander up (or down) to the Blue Belle!
There are people all over the world who share sweet memories of the Blue Belle Inn. If it's been ”awhile” since you've visited, we hope you'll come and see us soon! Enjoy a delicious lunch, browse St. Ansgar's delightful shops, solve a mystery, feast on our festive Fondue for Two (or twenty!) schedule a time to cozy up in front of the fireplace and relax in one of our 7 guest rooms.
If for some reason you can't join us now, spring will soon begin to blossom, and you'll again find treasures inside and out - daffodils and hyacinth poking their heads through the snow to bloom in our gardens, and a host of exciting special events and delicious meals.

We're open for lunch Monday - Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Please call 641-713-3113 for reservations if possible. Our delicious lunches are $9.95.
Enjoy dinner every night for overnight guests, and to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 pm, by reservation. The price for dinner is a simple $20.95 no matter which main course you order, and we'll ask you to order when you make your reservation so we can have your entrées hot and ready to serve when you arrive. Dinner is a little more on the nights when we have featured entertainment but we feel sure you'll agree our talented and fun entertainers are worth every penny!
You're welcome to bring wine, beer, or champagne to enjoy with your meal. We will provide wine glasses and corkscrews.
Our legendary desserts - Chocolate Covered Cherry Cheesecake, Lumpy Bumpy Toffee Pie, Irish Cream Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce, and Victoria Sponge with Berries and Buttercream, Caramel Apple Blossoms to name a few - always beckon. You'll have many delicious options to choose from!
It's a wonderful time of year to treat yourself to an overnight stay, or to try our delectable Fondue Feast, complete with cheese, meat and vegetable, and chocolate fondues, all for $29.95 per person ($35.95 per person on evenings with live entertainment).
